A telecommunications services company in Ottawa, ON is seeking an HS&E Advisor to lead health and safety initiatives and programs for their projects. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in construction or telecom safety roles, possess a health and safety-related diploma, and have strong communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, collaborating on HS&E policies, and mentoring field supervisors. You are an HS&E Advisor, who plays a key role in the execution and implementation of a diverse range of health and safety programs for Telecommunication projects. You will develop and enhance Job Hazard Analysis and Safe Work Practice documents based on existing materials as well as support operations personnel to meet Ledcor “Leading Indicator” requirements. You are a problem solver, a strong communicator and continuously look for innovative solutions that can be utilized to support projects. You are skilled at leveraging relationships with operational teams to drive continuous HS&E improvement.
