Job Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-driven HRIS Analyst to support the ongoing configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Now, if you were to come on board as our HRIS Analyst , we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Configure and maintain UKG modules and workflows to support core HR functions such as onboarding, recruitment, compensation, workforce management, benefits and payroll.
  • Manage routine system updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security standards are met.
  • Support system integration between UKG and other enterprise applications.
  • Work with P&C teams to ensure system configuration aligns with both standard business processes and collective agreement requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and user support materials.
  • Provide technical guidance to UKG power users and act as Tier 2/3 support for system-related issues.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources Technology, or a related field is ideal.
  • 5+ years of experience working with HRIS systems (UKG, Workday, SAP, etc.) in a technical configuration or system administration role. UKG experience considered an asset.
  • Proven experience with system configuration, user permissions, workflow design, and testing protocols.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and system integrations (e.g., APIs, SFTP, middleware).
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with data files and templates (e.g., XML, CSV).
  • Exposure to reporting tools or business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Cognos, or similar).
  • Understanding data security and role-based access controls.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
