  • Maintain and improve internal HR workflows and documentation for greater efficiency
  • Partner with hiring managers to assist in recruitment coordination and new hire processes
  • Support training initiatives and ensure mandatory compliance trainings are tracked and completed
  • Generate regular HR reports and workforce analytics (e.g., headcount, PTO trends, turnover)
  • Apply and maintain expertise in California employment law, including wage & hour compliance, FEHA, CFRA, pay transparency, and mandatory training requirements
  • Oversee legal documentation related to payroll practices, break schedules, final pay, vacation payouts, and employee notices
  • Lead resolution of employee relations matters with a strong understanding of California-specific requirements

  • Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Gusto, Payworks, Rippling, BambooHR, etc.).
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
