Job description

Venor is thrilled to partner with our client, Keyin College to lead the recruitment of a HR Operations Specialist. We are seeking an HR Operations Specialist to work in close collaboration with the Chief of Staff, supporting the ongoing execution of HR operations, systems management, recruitment processes, and payroll.

The HR Operations Specialist will play a key operational role, contributing to the success of HR initiatives while ensuring day-to-day HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing:

HR Operations & Systems (in collaboration with Chief of Staff and other stakeholders)

  • Support the implementation and optimization of HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll, performance management tools).
  • Maintain and update accurate employee records and HR data.
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage document control and compliance with employment standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR processes, workflows, and employee communications.

Payroll & Benefits Processing (in collaboration with Finance and Chief of Staff)

  • Support the preparation and review of payroll data to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Collaborate with Finance and external payroll providers as required.
  • Maintain payroll records and support employee inquiries related to payroll.
  • Assist with audits and reporting related to payroll and benefits.

Recruitment Operations (in collaboration with Chief of Staff and hiring managers)

  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including posting roles, managing ATS workflows, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate communications.
  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics and documentation to ensure a seamless new hire experience.

Project & Program Support (in collaboration with Chief of Staff)

  • Assist in the rollout and management of new HR programs and initiatives (e.g., onboarding, Employee Recognition, learning & development, wellness).
  • Participate in change management efforts related to new HR systems and processes.
  • Contribute to the drafting of HR policies, procedures, and internal communications.

What you’ll bring:

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of HR experience, including hands-on experience in HR operations and systems.
  • Experience supporting payroll processing in collaboration with Finance or a third-party provider.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems and comfort working with HR data and reporting.
  • Exposure to recruitment coordination and onboarding processes.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on process accuracy and compliance.
  • Technically proficient with HR systems and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
