Job description

The HR Operations Analyst will provide global support for the Human Resources team and is responsible for (1) the day-to-day activities to help support HR business partners and leaders across Ticketmaster; and (2) the transformation of HR processes to be scalable and technology-forward. Reporting directly to the HR Operations Manager, the HR Operations Analyst will assist employees and managers on a variety of employee and / or contingent worker life-cycle processes and services. They will also help the HR team leverage technology through various project and systems improvement work to drive efficiencies across. The role requires the ability and willingness to complete daily tactical responsibilities, as well as the initiative to think beyond today’s processes and evolve them to be scalable.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Serve as primary HR operations subject matter expert across employee lifecycle
  • Support and facilitate the transition of HR operations activities from the HR business partner team into the central HR Shared Services group in partnership with the local HRBP teams and the HR Operations Manager
  • Provide primary or secondary HR operations support by processing system transactions (through Workday), documenting process workflows, and implementing process improvements to drive organizational efficiency
  • Participate and provide subject matter expertise in various technology enhancement, self-service and process improvement projects; performs research and analysis and provides recommendations
  • Partner with the HR management team to ensure consistent implementation of processes and programs
  • Identify process gaps, improvement / enhancement opportunities and partner with manager to execute changes
  • Oversee creation and maintenance of process documents for HR processes, HR systems, background checks and internal reference guides
  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders including legal, payroll, benefits, immigration and other teams providing timely guidance and clarification on all matters as inquired by employees and managers
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry, processing, and auditing of employee transactions
  • Facilitate local onboarding and induction for new hires globally
  • Draft employment contracts and job change letters for distribution to the employee
  • Crosstrains other HR operations team members, especially as it relates to local / subject matter areas of expertise
  • Problem solves on a variety of issues where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors; exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Proven HR experience either as an HR operations analyst or generalist, within a large global business preferred (including benefits, health and safety laws and regulations)
  • Strong understanding of labor law principles, market practices, and regulations on pay, benefits, and safety, with the ability to identify when local legal expertise is needed
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity while dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to communicate complex processes and solutions while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, flexible, somewhat unstructured, service-oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise discretion, prioritize and multi-task in a highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to be agile and navigate change
  • Experience collecting, analyzing and presenting data
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and related systems, Workday preferred
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) required
  • Is a whiz at Microsoft Excel and is able to analyze large sets of data with strong skills in vlookups, pivot tables and various formulas
  • M&A experience or relevant work
