Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and decision-making with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in HR and local employment law.
  • Fluent in English to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience implementing large-scale HR projects, risk management, change management, business readiness, communications, and training activities.
  • Fluent in French to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and change management skills.

You will be an advocate for Google's culture and values, partnering with leaders to build effective teams and ensure data-driven decision-making. Your role includes coaching, resolving employee relations issues, and managing development programs, always prioritizing transparency and clarity.

Working closely with the Head of HR, you will execute Google's geographic priorities, understanding local programs, policies, and compliance. You will collaborate across teams, manage multiple projects, and facilitate stakeholder discussions, ensuring effective change management. Additionally, you will develop operational expertise in various service areas and maintain relevant documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure end-to-end delivery of HR processes in the country, supporting high-priority programs aligned with the local people plan.
  • Manage local employment policies to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, reviewing and updating policies as needed.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Process, and Support teams to mitigate market-related risks.
  • Provide local context on HR matters, including labor relations and engagement with councils where applicable.
  • Prioritize work to enhance the Googler experience in the country.
