Qualifications

Job description

Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide human resources guidance and partnership to Vancouver R&D leaders
  • Support the Vancouver site and provide remote support to Toronto and Montreal AI sites as needed
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for employee-related inquiries, escalating critical matters as needed
  • Contribute to and positively impact the ongoing culture and employee engagement
  • Support Canadian immigration policies, PR documentation, and Work Permit applications
  • Assist in learning and development initiatives for the Vancouver site
  • Collaborate with the People Team Director on program initiatives
  • Support projects, processes, and programs within the People Team
  • Manage special projects and support internal and external events as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years supporting technical teams as an HR Business Partner or Generalist
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management; CPHR designation is an asset
  • Experience in Learning & Development is an asset
  • Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to support employee relations, retention, and reward programs
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to support the team
