ABOUT THE ROLE

As our HR Generalist, you'll serve as the executional partner helping operationalize programs, manage core HR systems and processes, and support the day-to-day rhythm of the People team. In addition to executing existing programs, you'll also help design and evolve HR programs and policies that align with our rapid growth and global expansion.

If you're detail-oriented, systems-savvy, and excited about building clean operational infrastructure while helping shape what's next, this role is designed for you.

This role is based full-time in our Vancouver, BC office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
HR Process Coordination
  • Support day-to-day execution of core HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, relocations, leaves, policy acknowledgments, etc.).
  • Coordinate logistics and communications across People programs and employee lifecycle events.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy across all systems.
Program Implementation & Iteration
  • Partner with the Senior HR Manager to create, update, and operationalize People programs in support of company growth (e.g., onboarding, manager training, policy rollouts).
  • Proactively identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing programs and propose updates or improvements.
  • Draft program materials such as guides, timelines, templates, and internal comms.
Systems & Tools Management
  • Create reports, org charts, and dashboards as needed for team or leadership review.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors where required.
Policy & Documentation Support
  • Help draft and maintain internal People policies, templates, FAQs, and SOPs.
  • Track policy acknowledgments and ensure documentation compliance.
  • Support research and benchmarking to help revise or localize policies across regions.
Cross-functional Coordination
  • Liaise with Payroll, Legal, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless people operations.
  • Help coordinate employee communications, policy rollouts, or team-wide updates.
  • Track progress of initiatives, flag blockers, and help hold teams accountable to timelines.
ABOUT YOU
  • 2–5 years of experience in a People Ops, or Generalist role.
  • Organized, responsive, and execution-focused - you get things done and follow through.
  • Comfortable managing the details, but curious about the big picture and how programs evolve.
  • Familiar with core HR processes and systems, and excited to build from the ground up.
  • Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and is able to bring clarity to fluid situations.
  • Collaborative and eager to partner with a senior People leader to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience building or iterating on onboarding, engagement, or performance programs.
