$60,000 - $65,000 per year (depending on experience)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Participate in HR activities such as recruitment and retention, compensation, and benefits.
2. Direct training and communication programs to interpret company policies and procedures.
3. Prepare and participate in the collective bargaining process, including document control, coordination of required documents.
4. Focus on employee relations and labour relations.
5. Attend labour/management meetings and ensure consistent application of the collective agreements.
6. Other related HR Generalist duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
2. 5+ Years related HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
3. HRPA designation (CHRP, CHRL, CHRE) highly preferred.
4. Working experience in a unionized environment is a definite asset.
5. Thorough knowledge of current employment law and applicable legislation.
6. Previous experience in recruitment.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
