Position summary
- Define the strategic and operational objectives for the Human Resources department;
- Act as a strategic advisor within the leadership team and provide leadership in human resources projects;
- Provide influential advisory support to client groups regarding the deployment of all human resources programs and ensure their standardization;
- Work closely with the leadership team and the human resources team to align HR priorities with business objectives;
- Create, implement, and apply policies and procedures based on business needs;
- Manage health and safety files as needed;
- Lead, mobilize, and develop your team to deliver your department's service offering to client groups;
- Diagnose issues to offer integrated solutions aligned with strategic directions to managers;
- Contribute to attracting and recruiting talent to meet client group needs;
- Act as an agent of change to support managers through organizational transformations;
- Ensure the implementation of optimal employee relations solutions;
- Remain alert to organizational climate and communicate information to the relevant vice-presidency and the HR department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or any other relevant field;
- At least fifteen (15) years of experience in a similar role;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools and good mastery of social media, including LinkedIn;
- Business acumen, results-oriented approach, and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent leadership, initiative, and communication skills;
- Willingness to travel occasionally;
