Tasks
- Participate in the management team and contribute to the long-term growth strategy.
- Define, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Develop training, talent development, and management programs.
- Oversee the onboarding and integration process for new employees.
- Collaborate with production to plan workforce needs and budgets.
- Promote a positive work environment, manage conflicts, and mediate when necessary.
- Manage HR systems, oversee payroll, and maintain employee records.
- Lead succession planning and performance management initiatives.
- Establish and track HR KPIs to measure the effectiveness of HR actions.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs equitably.
- Promote health, safety, and well-being at work in compliance with CNESST regulations.
- Organize social activities and encourage diversity and inclusion.

Job requirements
- Strong command of all HR areas: compensation, health and safety, talent management, training.
- Good knowledge of Quebec labor laws and CNESST standards.
- Experience with HR and payroll systems (e.g., ADP).
- Fluent in both French and English to communicate regularly with English-speaking clients and subcontractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Administration (CRHA designation is an asset).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (experience in the food industry is an asset).
