Job summary

Innovasea is seeking a Systems-savvy HR Coordinator on a temporary contract basis to join our Halifax team. The role focuses on BambooHR system administration, data integrity, and end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for a global workforce.

You will manage job postings, coordinate candidate communication, support onboarding, and contribute to employee engagement initiatives while ensuring compliance with HR policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in an HR Coordinator, Recruitment Coordinator, or highly relevant HR administrative role.
• Hands-on experience with BambooHR is required (system administration and/or managing user access permissions).
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple moving parts, data entry, and documentation accurately.
• A self-motivated and proactive mindset - someone who naturally takes ownership of tasks without needing constant oversight.
• A natural problem solver who enjoys looking at a system or process bottleneck and finding an efficient way to fix it.
• Ability to commit to the full duration of this temporary contract.
• Following company information security policies is a required part of this role

Responsibilities

• System Administration & Compliance: Configure and manage country-level user access permissions within BambooHR.
• Oversee general administration, data integrity, and updates across all internal HR systems.
• Audit, organize, and ensure job descriptions are fully documented and up to date for all staff members.
• Recruitment & Onboarding Coordination: Manage the full cycle of job postings across various internal and external career platforms.
• Coordinate recruitment schedules, screen applications, and communicate with candidates.
• Assist with onboarding administration to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
• Employee Engagement & Communications: Own the creation, distribution, and content gathering for the company employee newsletter.
• Coordinate, launch, and monitor employee surveys to gather workplace feedback.
• Support and help execute internal employee engagement initiatives and culture-building events.
• HR Project Support & Administration: Provide administrative and coordination support on various ongoing HR projects.
• Handle day-to-day employee inquiries regarding HR systems, policies, or basic procedures.
