How you can help people and organizations work better together

Advantage Group International is looking for an HR Coordinator that is eager to take initiative in a small but busy team that supports a global associate base. In this role, you will provide operational and tactical support for the employee life cycle, while championing our values and culture. You will support the team to ensure we deliver a best-in-class employee experience.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment activities including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, coordinating offer letter preparation
  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires, and ensure all documentation is completed for meticulous record keeping
  • First point of contact to complete payroll for each cycle and work closely with HR and Finance Team to ensure payroll is completed in a timely manner
  • Administer end-to-end North American payroll processing via ADP Workforce Now for Canada & US, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Maintain HRIS platforms in the HR tech stack – ADP, Hibob, Udemy, Culture Amp.
  • HR Admin support such as employment letters, vacation reconciliation, creation of memos etc
  • Administer people rewards and incentives for life events and other occasions
  • Support employee programs such as engagement, performance development, learning and compensation administration
  • Participate and contribute to the health and safety program and initiatives
  • Help coordinate various company events, functions or meetings

If you’d like to join this team, you should have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience with payroll processing (ADP or similar preferred)
  • General knowledge of HR theories, best practices, and legislation
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ working experience in an HR/payroll or recruitment role considered an asset

Location:
