A recruitment services firm in Kitchener is seeking an HR Coordinator for a 6-week contract role with a strong possibility of extension. Do you have previous experience providing HR administrative support?

Are you a new grad from an HR program or looking to gain valuable HR experience in a corporate setting?

Are familiar with using an HRIS system such as : Ceridian Dayforce, ADP Workday and / or have SAP knowledge?

If this sounds like you, we've got an awesome HR Coordinator 6-week contract role in Kitchener, with a strong possibility of an extension.

Responsibilities

As the HR Coordinator you will be responsible for :

  • Entering purchase orders, ordering office supplies and updating employee information and changes in the HRIS and ERP systems
  • Supporting the onboarding process with new hire paperwork, orientation and updating security badges
  • Using MS Excel to log and track information and doing spreadsheet manipulation and updates
  • Document management and filing (related to health ands safety, training, employee files, attendance etc.)
  • Liaising with internal departments as needed and being the point of contact for employee inquiries
  • Supporting the team with general HR administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous HR experience or combination of education and experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce and / or ADP Workday is an asset
  • MS Office Suite - Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Above average communication (written and verbal)
  • High learning agility with the ability to operate independently and problem solve
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
