We’re looking for a passionate HR Business Partner to join our People & Culture team, to support our ESS (Defense, Offshore and Remote Services) sector. This is a unique opportunity to partner closely with senior leaders, drive business outcomes, and shape the employee experience in a fast-paced, service-driven organization.

Now, If You Were To Come On Board As a HR Business Partner, People & Culture, Here Are The Things We’d Need You To Be Great At

  • Consult with senior leaders to align people strategies with business goals, driving performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Embed yourself in the business, with a strong focus on client and customer service, ensuring HR solutions are practical and business-relevant.
  • Provide expert guidance across all HR disciplines including:
    • Employee and Union relations
    • Talent and performance management
    • Workforce planning
    • Career development
    • Employment law and compliance
  • Lead the implementation of People & Culture programs that enhance productivity, efficiency, and team cohesion.
  • Act as a leadership coach, fostering trust and open dialogue to elevate leadership capability.
  • Interpret and advise on collective agreements.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure compliance with sector-specific regulations and programs.

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including a strong foundation in employee relations and labor relations.
  • Post-secondary education in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in remote or camp-based environments is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel to a remote camp in Northern BC as required (travel allowance and/or chartered flights provided).
