HR Business Partner – Canadian Leader – Halifax

Are you a Human Resources professional looking to take on a key role within a company in the Halifax area where the talent of its team is at the heart of its success?

Our client, proud of the exceptional quality of its products and major brands, is seeking a HR Business Partner to support the management of production sites in human resources and the continuity of its success!

YOUR ROLE :

Your main responsibilities will include :

  • Acting as a strategic partner in human resources for managers and teams;
  • Participating in the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives;
  • Advising managers on performance management, talent development, and best HR practices;
  • Contributing to workforce planning and organizational needs analysis;
  • Ensuring compliance with labour laws and internal policies, including grievance management and participation in collective bargaining;
  • Supporting training, leadership development, and change management initiatives;

Promoting a positive culture of health, safety, and well-being at work.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations;
  • Certified HR professional would be an asset;
  • Proven experience in a similar position in a unionized environment, including business units and production sites;
  • Mastery of labour laws and regulatory requirements;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Availability to travel based on organizational needs;
  • Proficiency in HR software tools, particularly the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills;
  • Autonomy and ability to find solutions;
