Do you thrive on building strong relationships and solving people challenges in fast-paced operational environments? Reporting to the Director HR Business Partnership Supply Chain & Wholesale, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a trusted advisor to senior leaders in the Supply Chain & Wholesale division, including Retail Service Centres (RSCs)/Depots and Supply Chain and Wholesale corporate functions. You'll provide strategic HR support and collaborate with Centres of Excellence (COEs) to address complex workforce needs and drive transformation aligned with operational goals.

About the Role

  1. Partners with SCW business leaders and HR colleagues in enterprise-wide planning and transformation efforts to assess headcount, workforce capability, and future organizational needs for both RSCs and corporate SCW teams.
  2. Drives business-aligned workforce strategies across field and corporate teams to deliver on KPIs and ensure operational excellence while maintaining compliance with the collective agreement.
  3. Advises on and enables organizational design strategies that meet field and head office needs, support transformation, and align with the LCBO's People Strategy.
  4. Interprets and applies employment legislation, the collective agreement, and internal labour relations frameworks to support proactive workforce planning and mitigate risk.
  5. Partners with COEs to execute HR programming (talent, DEI, learning, performance, wellness, etc.) that enhances engagement and enables a strong employee experience across the division.
  6. Builds trusted relationships and acts as a coach to leaders through change, supporting both frontline and management groups.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 7 years of progressive HR experience with a strong background in organizational design, talent planning, labour/employee relations, and change management.
  • Experience supporting operations, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain functions in a unionized environment.
  • Ability to manage relationships across field operations (e.g., distribution, warehousing) and corporate stakeholders.
  • Proven strategic thinker with strong execution and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable coaching leaders, building alignment, and influencing outcomes in matrixed environments.
  • Track record of challenging the status quo and modernizing HR practices for impact.
