Job description

Join Trimark’s Managed HR Services Team

At Trimark, our HR Advisors turn strategy into impact — building compliant, people‑focused solutions that help organizations thrive. We believe growing businesses deserve more than transactional HR support; they deserve a true partner. As an Advisor, you’ll work side‑by‑side with Senior Consultants to deliver practical, culturally aware solutions that meet each client where they are.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate strategically with clients and Senior Consultants to design HR programs tailored to each stage of growth.
  • Own execution with accountability — draft policies, coordinate recruitment, manage documentation, prepare communications, and monitor compliance.
  • Engage as a trusted partner: listen actively, ask insightful questions, present clear solutions, and keep projects moving.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations (e.g., SMART goal setting, policy rollouts, training sessions) that build capability and confidence.
  • Implement and optimize HR systems and digital tools to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and design onboarding/engagement initiatives that strengthen retention and cultural alignment.
  • Champion continuous improvement by streamlining HR processes and embedding best practices.
  • Provide proactive recommendations while exercising sound judgment in escalating issues to your Senior Consultant.
  • Maintain organizational clarity and momentum by keeping stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Strengthen HR governance through accurate record‑keeping and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Stay current on HR trends, legislation, and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute creatively to Trimark’s thought leadership — blogs, videos, and social media content.
About You
  • A motivated professional who represents Trimark with confidence and integrity.
  • Entrepreneurial, solutions‑focused, and energized by challenges.
  • Detail‑oriented, committed to quality, and able to thrive in fast‑paced environments.
  • Skilled at building relationships across diverse cultures and workplace dynamics.
  • Open to coaching, learning, and growth within the organization.
  • Comfortable with local and multi‑day travel to support clients across BC and Alberta.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree with a CPHR designation (or equivalent experience).
  • 3‑5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Keen eye for data integrity and quality assurance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Customer‑service orientation with the ability to clearly communicate HR initiatives.
  • Tech‑savvy with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Office), ATS, and HRIS platforms.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Additional Information
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week, occasional weekends.
  • Compensation: $30‑35/hour plus Group Health Benefits (including Telehealth).
  • Term: 12‑month contract.
  • Location: Remote, with travel to client sites in BC and Alberta. Preferred bases include Vancouver Island, Abbotsford (Fraser Valley), Greater Vancouver, Calgary, or surrounding communities.
Why Join Trimark?
