TheHousing Support Worker (Leamington)plays a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness by facilitating access to shelter, housing, and essential community resources. This position requires strong assessment, advocacy, and case management skills to help clients navigate complex systems and work toward sustainable housing solutions.

What You Bring
·Post-secondary education in Social Work, Social Services, Human Services, or a related field (BSW preferred).
·Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, or related social issues.
·Strong understanding of housing systems, market trends, and barriers affecting vulnerable populations.
·Knowledge and understanding of the By Names Prioritized List (BNPL) process, the SPDAT Assessment Tool, Central Housing Registry applications and HIFIS data system.
·Knowledge of local community services, housing programs, and income support systems.
·Demonstrated ability to perform assessments, develop support plans, and manage case documentation.
·Excellent communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
·Strong crisis intervention and problem-solving abilities.
·Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client database systems.
·Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required.
