This position is part of a pilot project between BC Housing and CLBC where you will provide direct support for young adults at Mirrors with developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. With a caseload of 5 individuals, you will bring your experience working in a direct support role with vulnerable and marginalized groups to increase their independence and autonomy. Reporting to the Manager of Mirrors St., the Mirrors Housing Support Worker for Individuals is a vital part of the team, providing individualized, person-centred support to CLBC designated Individuals participating in the Mirrors program. They will support CLBC-eligible Individuals to schedule and attend appointments, keep their suites clean, and access other resources. The Housing Support Worker for Individuals supports the development of daily life and living skills by working closely with CLBC Individuals.
