Threshold Housing Society is seeking a Housing Support Worker to provide overnight housing and support for youth in a homeless prevention program. The role focuses on settling youth, managing stressors, and crisis support within a holistic wraparound care team.
Shifts are permanent, part-time (Fri–Sun 2:00pm–10:00pm), 22.5 hours/week, with a wage of $26.74–$31.00/hour dependent on experience and related skills. Salary adjustments cap at midpoint of the range.

We open doors for youth and prevent adult homelessness. We serve at-risk youth experiencing homelessness, aging out of care, or fleeing violence in the home. Young adults who need a place to call home and people who believe in them. We offer safe housing, community, and support to help youth make healthy choices and shift toward a brighter future.
The Housing Support Worker position will be the primary overnight contact person for youth. The goal of the program is to provide housing and support for youth who are MCFD involved. The role of the overnight position is to support youth in a housing setting to settle, manage stressors and potential crisis while supporting to focus on individual goals for the following day. This position will work in a team environment utilizing a holistic approach to support each youth's individual needs around mental health, life skills, community supports, housing and other identified areas.
Permanent, part-time, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, 22.5 hours per week.
The hourly wage is $26.74-$31.00 per hour dependent on experience and related skills. The successful candidate can expect to enter the organization no higher than the midpoint of the compensation range.
This position will remain open until September 4, 2026.
