We are conveniently located on a bus route, with a stop just outside the hotel, and offer a complimentary shuttle that picks up employees from the UBCO bus loop.

What will you be doing?

• Maintaining a neat and professional appearance (uniform clean, name tag on)
• Arriving at least 10 minutes before your shift
• Performing assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Assisting guests promptly with requests
• Multi-tasking effectively, prioritizing guest needs
• Completing repetitive tasks such as stripping guest rooms, making beds, collecting linens, and garbage
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Promoting our facilities and services to guests
• Assisting with laundry, linen delivery, and sorting
• Transporting and distributing laundry manually
• Stocking storage rooms with guest supplies
• Cleaning linen and electrical rooms
• Following lost and found procedures accurately
• Handling chemicals safely in accordance with MSDS
• Stocking housekeeping carts
• Cleaning guest rooms and performing stayover cleans as needed
• Completing required brand trainings
• Assisting other departments and resolving challenges
• Working varied shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays
• Participating in property walks and clean-up activities
• Following health, safety, and security procedures
• Communicating concerns to hotel personnel
• Cross-training and working at sister properties when necessary
• Performing other duties as assigned by management
