Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will have the authority to exceed guest expectations through supervising your team and creating "picture-perfect" guest experiences throughout the hotel. Your role is crucial as it shapes the guest's first impression of the hotel and contributes to your team's success. From cleaning the hotel lobby to guest rooms, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and storage areas are "picture-perfect" for a positive first impression.
  • Provide resources, direction, coaching, and feedback to direct reports for their ongoing development.
  • Prepare for shifts with a well-stocked cart including approved cleaning supplies and guest room amenities. Ensure equipment like vacuums, mops, and dusters are clean and functional.
  • Vacuum, dust, clean, sweep, polish, and restock guest rooms as required.
  • Respect guest property and privacy; follow lost and found procedures for items in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Understand and practice all emergency procedures for the hotel.
Experience, Passions, and Education
  • Minimum 6 months experience in housekeeping.
  • Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
  • Proficient in English.
Working Conditions

This role may involve long days and weekends to meet business demands or deadlines. It is a fast-paced environment requiring continuous physical movement, managing multiple tasks, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Independent work skills are also necessary.
