Extendicare is seeking a full-time Housekeeper at Oakview Place in Winnipeg, MB. You will clean resident rooms and common areas, operate cleaning equipment, and follow safety policies to support high-quality senior care.

The role requires good English communication, ability to work independently, and experience in institutional cleaning. A second language is an asset; a vulnerable sector check is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean areas per assigned schedules and sanitization procedures.
• Clean residents' apartments and common areas including fixtures.
• Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment.
• Strip, scrub, spray and buff carpet and hard floors.
• Collect garbage and move to designated areas.
• Follow residence policies and safety rules.
• Prepare required documentation per policy.
• Respect Resident Rights and Responsibilities.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings.
• Participate in Quality Improvement program.
