JAG based in St. John’s, NL is seeking a Housekeeping attendant who is self-motivated with good interpersonal skills. Selected candidate will start as soon as possible. This is a permanent, full-time role with shifts including Day, Weekend, On Call, Early Morning and Morning at St.

John’s, NL. The role requires performing standard housekeeping tasks and a strong focus on guest satisfaction. Training is provided; applicants should be able to lift up to 23 kg and work in a fast-paced hotel

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.

• Clean windows, walls, ceilings, changing rooms and showers.
• Respond to guest requests and handle lost and found items.

• The candidate will be expected to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate will be expected to dust furniture.
• The candidate will be expected to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate will be expected to make beds and change sheets.
• The candidate must distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• The candidate must stock the linen closet.
• The candidate will be expected to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting elevators.
• The candidate must handle and report lost and found items.
• The candidate must respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• The candidate must provide basic facility information.
• The candidate will be responsible for picking up debris and emptying trash cans.
• The candidate will be expected to clean the windows, walls, and ceilings.
• The candidate will be expected to clean changing rooms and showers.
• The candidate will be expected to respond to customer complaints or concerns.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
