Job summary

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham is seeking a Weekday Housekeeping Assistant to join our friendly team. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for patients and families, supporting clinicians, and contributing to a positive atmosphere throughout the hospice.

The position is Monday to Friday, 7.00am-3.00pm (37.5 hours per week) with training provided. We offer a competitive salary (£25,595 per annum) and a range of benefits including pension, health plan, and staff

Responsibilities

  • Support clinicians and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for patients and families.
  • Work within the housekeeping team to ensure high standards are met.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities and in-house training programs.

We have vacancies for weekday Housekeeping Assistants to join our busy, friendly and supportive housekeeping team, as we look forwards to growing our team in our new hospice in Farnham.

Our Housekeepers are an essential part of Phyllis Tuckwell, not only for housekeeping but for also maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere for our patients and their families. Whilst previous experience of similar work in an in-patient environment is preferred, this is not essential, and in-house training will be provided for the successful candidate.

About You

A successful Housekeeping Assistant will have:
