Job description

Join our team as a Housekeeping Aide!

As a Housekeeping Aide under the direction of the Environmental Services Manager, you play an essential role in cleaning and infection prevention of the home environment as well as creating a positive resident experience for those we serve. In this role, your duties include but are not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, garbage collection, cleaning of washrooms, monitoring and restocking inventory, and operation of housekeeping equipment as required.

We are looking for applicants who have :

  • Must have a Grade 12 secondary diploma
  • Must have previous housekeeping experience in a Long Term Care setting
  • Demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education
  • Must understand oral and written instructions
