Job summary

Southbridge Care Homes in London, Ontario is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeping Aide to support residents by cleaning and sanitizing living spaces. The role reports to the Environmental Service Manager and offers daily morning shifts from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Clean – Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the property. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas.
• Stock – Wash and stock towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms. Fold laundry and put away as needed.
• Other – Pick up and empty trash containers. Load washer and dryer as needed. Notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.

Reports to: Environmental Service Manager

The Housekeeping Aide provides support to the residence by, cleaning and sanitizing to ensure that our Residents are living in the best environment possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean – Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas. Wash dishes, utensils, glasses, pots and pans. Wipe and dust surfaces in rooms and clean mirrors. Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes. Remove and replace linens, bedspreads, and blankets.
• Stock – Wash and stock all towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms. Fold laundry and put away as needed.
• Other – Pick up and empty trash containers. Load washer and dryer as needed. If applicable, notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
