Job summary

The Det'on Cho Group of Companies is seeking a full-time Housekeeper for the Keskorie Boarding Home to ensure exceptionally clean and safe guest accommodations. Under supervision, you will follow established cleaning schedules and safety protocols.

Hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm for up to 40 hours per week, including statutory holidays, as operations run seven days a week year‑round. Immunization records and a vulnerable sector CRC are required, along with PPE familiarity.

• Ability to follow checklists and cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptionally clean and safe guest accommodation.
• Follow regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.
• Wipe and sanitize windows, walls, doors, fixtures; wash washrooms.
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors; replace bed linens daily.
• Report and handle lost and found items; assist guests professionally.

Job description

What You Will Do

Under the supervision and direction of the Housekeeper Supervisor, the Housekeeper is a key team member of the Keskorie Boarding Home who will be instrumental in providing exceptionally clean and safe accommodation for our guests. Hours of work will be 8:00am to 4:00pm for a maximum of 40 hours per week including Statutory Holidaysas our service operates seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day year-round.

A Day In The Life

• Following a regular cleaning and maintenance schedules
• Wipe, sanitize windows, walls, doors, fixtures
• Thoroughly wash and sanitize the washrooms
• Vacuuming carpets and cleaning floors using the appropriate products
• Removing all used bed linens and replacing with a fresh set
• Addressing guest’s service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Report and store lost and found items.

What You Bring

• Familiar with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Proven team player with ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow checklists.
• Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate or willing to take training immediately.
• WHMIS Certificate.
• Self-motivated and trustworthy.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow company processes, policies and procedures.
