Job summary

The-Cannery-Lofts in Niagara Falls is seeking a hotel housekeeping attendant to clean and disinfect guest rooms and public areas, launder and replenish supplies, and assist guests with requests. You will report maintenance needs and help maintain security for guests and property.

This role requires English communication and physical stamina. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms by category priority, handling linens, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent vocational training.
• 1-year housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests and hotel personnel.
• Dress code adherence as per company policy.
• Must be physically fit (lift up to 20 lb, walk stairs, push/pull heavy carts, bending, stretching).

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust and disinfect guestrooms, bathrooms and kitchens.
• Maintain cleanliness of all furniture, fixtures and touch points.
• Replace linen after every checkout and replenish supplies.
• Report damages or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Ensure security of guests and property and manage lost and found items.
• Assist guests with requests and respond to complaints.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and housekeeping-related duties.

SALARY RANGE:$18.00- $21.00/hour- based on experienceEMPLOYEE BENEFITS:Employee DiscountsFree ParkingPaid Time OffJOB OVERVIEW:The position has varied responsibilities and may include: cleaning and disinfecting guest rooms as assigned; cleaning public areas, including bathrooms; doing laundry; handling guest requests or complaints. The position is also responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guests.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Use proper cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to hotel requirements.Clean, dust and disinfect all furniture/ fixtures and touch points in guestroom, including bathrooms and kitchens.
