Job summary

Aramark Remote Workplace Services is seeking Housekeepers for a remote lodge in Fort Frances, ON. You will ensure the highest level of cleanliness, potentially handling 25+ rooms per day, with rotations of on-site work and time off.

Transportation is provided from Winnipeg, MB or Thunder Bay, ON to the site. We value experience in professional cleaning, attention to detail, and strong communication with clients and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness of facilities to high standards.
• Clean up to 25+ rooms per day as required.

• Follow universal precautions for waste and bio-hazard materials.
• Keep cleaning carts stocked and chemicals labeled correctly.
• Provide friendly, professional service and teamwork.

Job DescriptionAramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for Housekeepers for a remote lodge in Fort Frances, ON. As a Housekeeper you are responsible for the overall cleanliness of our facilities to the highest-level of cleaning. Housekeepers could be cleaning up to 25+ rooms per day. Successful candidates will have professioanl camp cleaning, residential or commercial cleaning experience.

Transportation is provided from either Winnipeg, MB or Thunder Bay, ON to site.

• Rotations are 2 weeks working on site and 1 week off

Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Maintains all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean neat and sanitary manner, to protect safety and health of others and in compliance with accurate preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in department policy.
• Inspects and uses judgment in determining which cleaning techniques outlined in orientation guidelines to follow.
• Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor.
• May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
• Diligently employs universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
• Keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies; ensures all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition.
• Promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintains professional conduct at all times.
• Assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
