Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned areas and corridors in a clean, sanitary condition in line with safety policies.
• Assesses cleaning techniques and applies orientation guidelines to select methods.
• Demonstrates safe, efficient use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning solutions.
• Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies as needed.
• Handles waste and bio-hazardous materials with universal precautions.
• Keeps cleaning cart stocked and ensures chemical labeling and equipment function.
• Fosters professional relationships and supports department productivity and growth.
• Adheres to training commitments and welcomes additional duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Flying Post Camp and Logistics in partnership with ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services are hiring for Housekeepers for a remote lodge near Timmins/Sudbury, ON. Housekeepers are responsible for the overall cleanliness of our facilities to the highest-level of cleaning. Housekeepers could be cleaning an allotted amount of rooms per day. Successful candidates will have professional residential and commercial cleaning experience. Remote Experience is an asset.

• Transportation is provided out of Timmins or Sudbury, ON;
• Rotation are 14 days on site and 14 days off site.

Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor towards customers, clients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Maintains all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean neat and sanitary manner, to protect safety and health of others and in compliance with accurate preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in department policy.
• Inspects and uses judgment in determining which cleaning techniques outlined in orientation guidelines to follow.
• Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor.
• May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
• Diligently employs universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
• Keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies; ensures all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition.
• Promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintains professional conduct at all times.
• Assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
