Homewood Ravensview is a private 75-bed mental health, trauma, and addiction facility offering evidence-based, medically-led inpatient services for first responders, military, veterans, executives & professionals, adults, and young adults. Located in North Saanich on 28 acres of forested hillside, it offers a comfortable and safe environment with serene ocean views, spacious rooms, welcoming common areas, and a team of physicians, psychiatrists, counsellors, and 24-hour nursing professionals.

As a Housekeeper, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Cleaning patient rooms and performing duties such as mopping floors, washing furniture, cleaning bathroom fixtures, dusting, stripping and remaking beds, turning mattresses, and other general cleaning work
  • Utilizing cleaning equipment like vacuums, mops, and other tools
  • Cleaning common areas, restrooms, corridors, hallways, stairways, and other spaces while maintaining health and hygiene standards
  • Sanitizing toilets, showers, bathtubs, countertops, sinks, and other surfaces
  • Washing walls, ceilings, doors, and trim by hand or with equipment
  • Cleaning hardware, brass, furniture, mirrors, lighting fixtures, windows, sills, screens, vents, radiators, and exterior of cabinets and equipment
  • Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with linens, toiletries, and supplies
  • Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces
  • Emptying waste baskets and replacing liners
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in housekeeping within hospitals, hotels, or institutional environments is an asset
  • Infection prevention and control training is an asset
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with fluctuating workloads
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and afternoons
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, kneel, squat, push, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements

Own transportation is required as Ravensview is not accessible by public transit.
