Job summary

Northern Vision Development is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our Dawson City hotel operations. You will maintain clean rooms, public areas, and support daily housekeeping tasks to ensure a welcoming guest experience.

On-site role with 35-40 hour weeks, permanent status, and shifts including mornings/evenings. We value reliability, physical stamina, and a collaborative spirit in a busy northern hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience.
• Able to stand, walk, lift and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable, respectful, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and public spaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Assist with laundry and linen management as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and communicate with team to ensure smooth operations.

• Guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry areas are clean, organized, and ready to support a strong guest experience.
• Work is completed safely, reliably, and to the expected standard.
• Shifts run smoothly because team members communicate clearly and support one another.
• Supplies, linens, and cleaning routines are managed well, helping the operation stay prepared and efficient.
• Standards stay strong even during busy periods and seasonal peaks.

What you bring to the role

• 6 months experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning.
• Reliable, respectful, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet throughout the shift.
• Able to work steadily, follow direction, and do the job properly.
• Positive attitude and works well with others.
• Able to maintain cleanliness and standards in a busy hospitality environment.

• This role is onsite in Dawson City, Yukon.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
