Job summary

Bria Communities LP is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain clean, safe living environments within our Delta, BC residences. The role involves cleaning resident suites and common areas, engaging with residents, and ensuring linens are managed properly with safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

The ideal candidate has Grade 10 education, WHMIS certification, and familiarity with janitorial equipment, with experience in hospitality or healthcare considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education or equivalent.
• WHMIS Certification and knowledge of janitorial / housekeeping equipment.
• Related certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident common areas and individual suites to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable living environment.
• Engage in conversation with residents while cleaning their suite or in common areas.
• Collect, launder, and deliver linens to resident rooms while ensuring laundry supplies are restocked, and equipment is used safely.
• Prepare and utilize cleaning solutions according to established safety protocols and WHMIS standards, established procedures and safe practices.
• Monitor the condition of all tools and equipment, reporting any faults or safety hazards to management promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge about the safe use of cleaning chemicals, housekeeping and janitorial equipment.
