Note: This job is located at a remote mine site or exploration camp in Northern Saskatchewan. The position starts ASAP. We cover your travel (flight or shuttle service out of Saskatoon), meals, and accommodations when at the site. Shift work is required with 2-week in-and-out rotations.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Make beds.
• Clean and sanitize all assigned areas.
• Collect garbage.
• Clean rooms to required standards.
• Follow ACLP policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Things to consider:

• Shift work at remote sites, including mining facilities and exploration camps.
• Ability to work compressed workweeks with 2-week rotations.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Must be a team player.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail.
• Grade 10 education is an asset.
• One year of housekeeping experience is an asset.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean record is an asset.
• Possession or ability to obtain a valid first aid certificate.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, including WHMIS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Physically capable of performing duties.
