Job Location: Remote mine site or exploration camp in Northern Saskatchewan. To start ASAP.

Note: Regina hires must get to Saskatoon Airport at their own expense and time. Shift work is required (11-hour day or night shifts), with 2-week in-and-out rotations. Must pass a drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, and wash floors.
  • Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting and rugs.
  • Make beds.
  • Clean and sanitize all assigned areas.
  • Collect garbage.
  • Clean rooms to specified standards.
  • Follow ACLP policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional considerations:

  • Shift work at remote sites, including mining facilities and camps.
  • Ability to work compressed workweeks.
  • Team player attitude required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail.
  • Grade 10 education or equivalent experience preferred.
  • One year housekeeping experience is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe record is an asset.
  • Possession or ability to obtain a valid first aid certificate.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, including WHMIS.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Physically capable of performing duties.
