We cover transportation (shuttle service to and from the site, only out of Saskatoon or Prince Albert), meals, and accommodation when at the site.

***The job is located at our Foran Mine site in Saskatchewan, 85 km west of Flin Flon, MB.

Shift work is required; work schedules are 2-week in-and-out rotations.

Reporting to the Housing Manager, Housing Attendants (Housekeepers) are responsible for housekeeping duties at remote northern sites, such as mining facilities and exploration camps. Duties must be completed according to contract standards and specifications.

Responsibilities include:

• Sweeping, mopping, and washing floors
• Dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets and rugs
• Making beds
• Cleaning and sanitizing all areas as assigned
• Collecting garbage
• Cleaning rooms to required specifications
• Following company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Considerations:

• Shift work at remote sites — mining facilities and exploration camps
• Must be a team player, able to work well with others

Qualifications:

• Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
• Grade 10 education is an asset
• One year of housekeeping experience is an asset
• Combination of education and experience will be considered
• Valid Driver's license with a safe driving record is a strong asset
• Possession or ability to obtain a recognized first aid certificate
• Ability to perform housekeeping duties safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of safety procedures including WHMIS
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Physically capable of performing duties
