Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Housekeeper to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Faro Mine Remediation Project, with custodial work based in Whitehorse, where Parsons has an office and accommodations .

This position begins on a part-time Temporary Fixed-Term basis with the potential to move to a regular, part -time role in the future, based on performance and workload.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors as required .
• Remove trash, refuse, and debris from facilities and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness.
• Dust equipment, furniture, fixtures, and polish metal trimmings and other surfaces as needed.
• Manage cleaning supplies and ensure adequate inventory for daily operations.
• Attend required training sessions, including Health and Safety (H&S) and chemical handling training, and adhere to all on-site policies and company requirements.
• Participate in first aid training .
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Punctuality and reliability
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Must be able to stand for long periods .
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg. .
• Proven understanding of safe work practices and mitigating risk .
• Ability to work with little supervision and function in a multidisciplinary environment.
