Job summary

Golden Village Inn is seeking a housekeeping staff member to maintain cleanliness and order throughout the hotel on site. You will perform standard cleaning tasks, assist guests, and ensure a pleasant guest experience in a hospitality setting.

Experience in housekeeping is helpful, and a flexible schedule may be required to cover shifts. Training provided on-site to uphold safety and cleanliness standards within guest rooms and common areas.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• Clean and disinfect elevators.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
• Provide basic information on facilities.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Mend clothing and linens.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
