Job summary

The Oswego Hotel in Victoria, BC is seeking a dedicated housekeeping attendant to maintain guest rooms and common areas to high standards. This on-site role welcomes applicants with no prior experience, as training is provided, and you will learn cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and guest service basics.

You will perform duties such as cleaning, beds, stocking, trash, and responding to guest requests, while ensuring hospitality and cleanliness throughout the property.

Qualifications

• Willing to be trained; no prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

• Handle and report lost and found items
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
