Job summary

The Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce is seeking a reliable cleaner to perform cleaning duties across bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areas. You will dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and polish surfaces, make beds and restock supplies while preserving privacy and safety standards.

Responsibilities include reporting damaged items, maintaining equipment, following health and sanitation procedures, and completing tasks efficiently to uphold a high standard of cleanliness for clients and households.

• Cleaning and sanitizing bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Making beds and changing bed linens, towels, and other household linens.
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, furniture, appliances, and fixtures.
• Emptying garbage and disposing of waste properly.
• Restocking cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other household items.
• Washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry when required.
• Reporting damaged, missing, or broken items to the supervisor or homeowner.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring supplies are stored properly.
• Following health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Respecting clients' privacy and handling personal belongings carefully.
• Completing cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
