Job summary

Merry Maids of Durham is seeking full-time cleaners to join a friendly team. The role offers a 8:30am–5:30pm schedule with paid training, weekly pay, and no night or weekend shifts. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are preferred for driving to multiple homes.

You will perform home cleaning with attention to detail, using approved products and methods, and ensure customer satisfaction after each visit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load cleaning products and equipment into your vehicle.

What Does a Workday Look Like?

• Preparing and loading cleaning products and equipment into your vehicle.
• Provide an exceptional service in customers' homes performing different cleaning activities, e.g., cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, etc.
• Moving reasonably light furniture in rooms to clean under and behind.
• Taking pride and being passionate about the work you do.

What Is Required for The Role?

• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Clean police record and strong references.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs. of equipment.
• Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions.
• Ability to drive to and from various job sites.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
