  • At least 19 years of age.
  • Knowledge of or openness to L’Arche history, values, and vision.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to manage the stress of multi-faceted responsibilities.
  • Calm, focused, and able to respond well in times of crisis.
  • Open to learning and able to give and receive feedback.

Duties include personal care, household tasks, participation in community activities, and maintaining a supportive environment that reflects the values of L’Arche.

This is a part-time position, well-suited for individuals seeking occasional or part-time work in a meaningful, people-focused environment. Weekday morning, evening and weekend availability is required.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide respectful, high-quality support in areas such as personal care, household chores, meal preparation, transportation, medication, and community participation.
  • Build supportive relationships with core members based on mutual respect and dignity.
