Hourly Bartender - The Rec Room Square One

The Rec Room’s Bartenders are key team members who deliver an exceptional dining experience. They prepare alcoholic drinks, pour wine and beer, and serve guests in various settings such as restaurants, bars, and lounges. Ideal candidates are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about standard drink recipes, with flexibility to accommodate guest preferences. Square One The Rec Room, Mississauga

Responsibilities

• Taking and fulfilling drink orders, garnishing, serving, and handling payments via POS
• Maintaining cleanliness by cleaning up after guests, removing empties, restocking supplies, and washing glasses and utensils
• Monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring the bar is stocked
• Ensuring safety by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication, refusing service if needed, and arranging safe transportation for guests

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• Must be of legal drinking age
• 1-2 years of bartending experience preferred
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Completed bartending courses (preferred)
• Knowledge of drink recipes
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid provincial alcohol handling certification
