Qualifications

  • Experience loading & hauling equipment utilizing a gooseneck trailer.
  • Able to perform pre & post trip inspections.
  • Previous load securement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload equipment and or goods.
  • Ensure materials are delivered safely and on time.
  • Complete walk around and basic maintenance on equipment.

Skills

Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail

Education

Clean drivers license (class 1 or 3)
CSTS 2020 certification or ability to achieve

Job description

Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc. is looking for qualified Hot Shot Driver class 1 or 3 (Seasonal) with extensive experience loading & hauling equipment utilizing a gooseneck trailer. Responsibilities include:

  • Safely load and unload equipment and or goods, strapping and securing loads, and deliver to various sites throughout the Edmonton Area.
  • Responsible for materials on the trucks being delivered safely, and on time.
  • Able to complete walk around and basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre & post trip inspections.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and take direction.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Physically able to perform all physical actions pertinent to the job, and equipment operation.
  • Clean drivers license (class 1 or 3)
  • CSTS 2020 certification or ability to achieve is required
  • 35’ Goose neck and smaller towing experience an asset
  • Equipment Operating experience (Skid Steer-Mini Hoe-Loader) is an asset
  • Previous load securement experience
