Job summary

West Edmonton Mall is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our hotel operations team. You will handle repairs across guest rooms, dining areas, and meeting spaces, performing preventive maintenance to ensure safety and comfort.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on hotel maintenance experience and strong communication skills. Plumbing, carpentry, or electrical know-how is a plus. This role requires evening and weekend availability, with starting pay of CAD 21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Complete repair requests for guest rooms, restaurants, and meeting spaces, including minor appliance and equipment repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and daily inspections to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems, plus basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Monitor maintenance inventory, keep logbooks, and report or order parts and supplies.
• Support additional maintenance tasks as needed.

We are looking for part-time and full-time workers.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete repair requests for guest rooms, restaurants, and meeting spaces, including minor repairs to appliances and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and daily inspections to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment
• Maintain and service HVAC systems, along with conducting basic electrical and plumbing repairs
• Monitor maintenance inventory, maintain logbooks, and report or order required parts and supplies
• Support additional maintenance tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For: Previous hotel maintenance experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work under pressure. Plumbing, carpentry, or electrical experience is an asset.

Details: Full-time or part-time | This position requires evening and weekend availability. Starting hourly rate: $21.00 per hour.

Must pass basic security clearance.
