Job summary

West Edmonton Mall Property Inc. (West Edmonton Mall & Fantasyland Hotel) is seeking a Maintenance Worker to handle hands-on repairs and routine upkeep across guest rooms, dining areas, and event spaces.

You will perform preventive maintenance and basic electrical/plumbing tasks, service HVAC, manage inventory, and keep logbooks up to date in a fast-paced hotel environment. Strong troubleshooting skills, reliable communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel maintenance experience is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to multitask under pressure.
• Plumbing, carpentry, or electrical experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Complete repair requests for guest rooms, restaurants, and meeting spaces, including minor repairs to appliances and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and daily inspections to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems, along with conducting basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Monitor maintenance inventory, maintain logbooks, and report or order required parts and supplies.
• Support additional maintenance tasks as needed.

Details: Full-time | This position requires weekend availability. Starting hourly rate: $20.00 per hour.
