Housekeeping Supervisor

Canyon Alpine Motel Ltd., located at 50530 Trans Canada Hwy, Boston Bar BC V0K 1C0, is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor.

The applicant must be customer-friendly, presentable, and a team player.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Supervise housekeeping staff and perform daily duties.
2. Interact with hotel guests on a daily basis.
3. Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.
4. Perform cleaning duties, including:
1. Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors.
2. Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
3. Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
4. Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies.
5. Stock linen closets and other supply areas.
6. Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
7. Clean and disinfect public areas.
8. Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
9. Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
10. Report and store lost and found items.
11. Assist cleaning staff in keeping the hotel neat and clean.
12. Perform some laundry duties.

Wages: $26.50 per hour

Full-time: 40 hours per week

Experience: Previous experience as a hotel team leader or supervisor is required.
