Job summary

InnVest Hotels is seeking a Corporate Accountant in Toronto to manage daily and monthly accounting activities, close cycles, and reporting for multiple entities. The role reports to the Corporate Controller and supports audits and annual budget processes.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team, with a flexible approach to overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting, or a diploma in Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience in an accounting environment; property experience is a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; bilingualism is a plus (French).

Responsibilities

• Perform month end close, journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Balance sheet reconcilations and intercompany transactions.
• Assist with payroll journal entries and regulatory filings.
• Support annual audit and budgeting processes.
• Maintain asset schedules and assist with system upgrades testing.
